He was predeceased by: his parents, Ai C. Hammond and Martha D. Hammond; his sister Linda Miller; his brothers-in-law, Fred Miller and David Cornelison; his nieces, Lisa Grant and Marcie Mills; and his nephew James O'Dowd.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Hammond; his children, Mark Hammond of Vermont and Jennifer Hammond (McDonald Lozada) of California; his grandchildren, Luke Hammond Lozada and Danielle Lozada; and his sister Martha Whitrock of Malvern, AL.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
