She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Putney and Annette Putney (Conti); her husband Robert Newton; and her grandson James Newton. She is survived by: her children, Robert R. Putney of Berlin, Annette M. Newton of Barre, Sandy Mae E. Newton of Barre and John F. Newton of Graniteville; and her brothers, Robert Putney (Amber) of Graniteville and Richard Putney (Luana) of Williamstown. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
