It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ila M. Perry (Graniteville, Vermont), born in Plainfield, Vermont, who passed away on December 10, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilman E. Holden and Mildred Holden (Thompson); her husband John; her grandson Richard Perry; her siblings, Hilda Martin Kobe and Willard Holden; and her son-in-law William Nye.
She is survived by: her children, John Perry, Jr. (Faith) of Raleigh, NC, Nancy Nye of Raleigh, NC, Timothy Perry (Mary) of Valdosta, GA, Vicki Plaster (John) of Smithfield, NC, Jane Perry of Barre, VT and James Perry of Clayton, NC. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.
Her memberships included the Bemiss United Methodist Church, ACTO – Alzheimer's Care Givers Time Out and the VLPR Senior Center all of Valdosta, GA.
