He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lavallee and Marjorie Lavallee (Gelinas); his daughter Louise Lavallee; and his brothers, Ernest and Robert Lavallee.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lavallee (Dyment); his daughter Carole Lavallee of South Hero; his grandsons, Richard and Nathaniel; his daughter Denise Ford of St. Albans; his grandsons, Ethan and Jack; his daughter Lisa Pecsok of Swanton; his grandchild JJ; his daughter Laura Lavallee of San Jose; his grandson Matthew; his siblings, Barbara Ryan and Donald Lavallee of Essex Junction; his close friend Jerome Lavigne of Concord; and his great grandchildren, Sadie, Kaylee, Izabella and Kayden Lavallee.
