He was predeceased by: his brothers, Lawrence F. Short and William R. Short. He is survived by: his spouse Mary Elizabeth Short (Burke); his children, Bruce H. Short, Brian W. Short and Jennifer L. Long-Reboulet (Stephen J. Reboulet); his siblings, Gerald Short (Kathy), Robin Bragdon, Donna Duford and Janet Allen; his sisters-in-law, Pamela Short and Linda Short; and his grandsons, Joshua, Scott, Derek and Kenneth. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
