It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Sunderland Way (Georgia, Vermont), who passed away on March 22, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Sunderland and Winnie Sunderland (Newton); her husband Marvin C. Way; her son David; her siblings, Gladys Norris (Don), Ronald Sunderland (Charlotte), Russell Sunderland, Dorothy Pattee (George), Joyce Laplant (Don) and Irene Pattee (James); and her brother-in-law Richard Shepard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Sweeney (Michael) of Georgia and Deborah Balon (Chester) of Kittery; her sister-in-law Marjorie Shepard; her grandchildren, Heather Digby (John), Sean Balon (Robyn), Nicole Sweeney, Cheryl Couture (Gerry), Emmy Dove (Simon) and Geoffrey Sweeney (Jessica); and her great grandchildren, Collin, Ian Digby, Luke, Kylee Couture, Oliver Dove, Jenna, Benjamin, Olivia Sweeney and Abigail Balon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
