He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph O. Rainville and Cecilia Rainville (Bernard); and his siblings, Harvey, Gaston, Laurent, Robert, Bernard, Jean Louis, Paul, Madeline, Marie Paule, Noella, Fernande and Imelda.
He is survived by: his wife Claudette Gagner of Georgia; his sons, Gilles J. Rainville (Elke) of Georgia and Peter Rainville of Fairfax; his grandchildren, Kirsten, Justin, Emma, Claire, Sarah, Marie, Hannah and Ashley; his great grandchild Claudia; his siblings, Theresa Paquette of Jericho and Jean Guy Rainville (Fernande) of Fairfax; his sisters-in-law, Lillian Rainville and Sophia Rainville; and his in-laws, Ronald Gagner, Lise, Dan Bovat, Arlene and Gary Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heald Funeral Home (87 S Main St, St Albans City, VT 05478). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Angels Church (245 Lake St, St Albans City, VT 05478).
