We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2021, at the age of 87, Roger A. Merchant of Franklin, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gurden Merchant and Stella Merchant (Hills); his nephew Michael Merchant; his parents-in-law, Anna and Marshall O'Brien; his siblings-in-law, Sandra Lee and Wayne O'Brien; his niece Lisa O'Brien; and his nephew Troy O'Brien.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Merchant (O'Brien); his children, Todd (Linda) and Jori (Scott Dean) of Swanton; his grandchildren, Trevor (Kelsey) of Spring Creek, NV and Amanda of Randolph, ME; his great grandchild Franni; and his brothers, Robert (Mary) of Barre and Gary of St. Albans. He is also survived by many cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
