He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Jr. Asselin and Olivette Asselin (Dube). He is survived by: his close friend German Shepard; his brother Charles Asselin; his children, John W. Dube (Lisa), Patricia A. Dube Lamoureux (Jim) and Deborah A. Bishop (Brian); his grandchildren, Heather Parah (Bishop), Ethan Bishop-Henchman, Cody Lothian, Chad Lothian, Miranda Dube and Briana Herman (Dube); and his great grandchildren, Corey Jaring (Bishop), Coral Parah and Miley Lothian.
