It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Hinkel in Franklin, Vermont, born in York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 4, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herbert Hinkel and Lulu Hinkel; his grandchildren, Patriots and Red Sox; his daughter Christine Hinkel Ianni of Essex, VT; his son-in-law Christopher Ianni; his grandchild Noelle; his daughter Joanne Hinkel of Cold; his son-in-law Jason Schneck; his granddaughters, Celia and Mae; his sister Mary Lou McDonald of Asheville, NC; his former wife Carol Hinkel of Burlington, VT.; and also, Kevin and Linda McDonald of Arden, NC.
The isolation created by this pandemic is taking a tremendous toll on the mental and physical health of our seniors and those who care for them.
