She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Girard and Wilfred Girard; her siblings, Cedric Abel (Marian Abel), Phyllis Girard (Norman Bishop) and Augustus (Greg); her husband Richard Charles Read (Charlie); her siblings, Greg Girard, James (Betty Girard) and Alberta; her brother-in-law Wendell Reed; her brother David; her sister-in-law Joyce Read; and her children-in-law, Elaine Read and Rudy Ives.
She is survived by: her children, Marguerite (Peggy) and Frank (Sandra Read); her brother Lawrence Girard (Carol) of Essex; her brother-in-law Frank Read (Ellen) of St. Albans; her children, James Read of Essex and Valerie Ives of St. Albans; and her grandchildren, Cheryl Read (Gary Richardson), Derick, Leslie Read, Laura, Dominic Dattilio, Darrell Read (Erin Schmitt), Tay, Ted Olson, Kimberley, Jody Desjardins, Josh McNight, Julie, Jamie Danaher, Jill and Matt Abair. She is also survived by great grandchildren and several beloved nieces and nephews.
