We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2024, at the age of 71, Douglas Paul White of Franklin, Vermont, born in Montpelier, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Bador White. He is survived by: his father Paul White Sr.; his significant other Leslie Britch; his children, Heather White Godfrey, Sarah Gallagher (Patrick), Zachariah White (Quana), Ashley White (Dustin), Olivia White and Daniel O'Shaughnessy (Cameron); his grandchildren, Myles, Eleanor Godfrey, Maeve, Emmett, Callan Gallagher, Sadie and Henry Eckhardt; his siblings, Bonnie Irwin (Lynn), Donna Provost (Roger), Priscilla White (Rolf), Brent White (Betty) and Paul White Jr. (Alison); and his partner's children, Hillary, Anders Hedberg and Chelsea Pigeon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In honor of Doug's generous spirit, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hope Lodge (American Cancer Society, lodging for families of cancer patients), 237 East Avenue, Burlington, Vermont 05401 or a local hospice service of your choice.
