He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grace Petit and Laurent Petit; his wife Marge Petit (Marge); his daughters, Elizabeth Cunningham (Christopher Cunningham) of Holly, MI and Christine Farnham of Barre, VT; his granddaughter Kelyn Farnham of Danville, VT; his brother Gene Petit (Roe Wathos) of Peabody, MA; and his sister-in-law Judi Petit of Worcester, MA. He was also cherished by many friends and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Central Vermont Home Health and Hospice or the Vermont Historical Society.
