He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sargent and Blendina Sargent of Fairlee, Vt.; his son Mark; and his brother Benson Sargent of Barre. He is survived by: his wife Joan Tyler Sargent; his stepchildren, Kate Grant (Charlie) of Bradford and Chuck Clifford (Sheri) of Orford, NH; his former wife Barbara Sargent of Gulfport Florida; and his brother Ernest Sargent of Randolph. He is also survived by 4 step- grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, as well as friends.
