He is survived by: his wife Mary "Deecie" Leeson McNelly Denison of Fairlee; his son John Hopkins "Jay" Denison, Jr. (Ellen) of Concord; his granddaughters, Elisabeth Reidy Denison of London and Nina Lindsay Denison of Boston, Massachusetts; his son Mark Hopkins Denison (Tammy) of Jericho; his granddaughters, Hanna Naylor Denison of Los Angeles and Hope Lindsay Denison of New York; his daughter Sandra Moore Denison; his grandchildren, Victoria Piper Mallett of Newbury, Edmund John "Jack" Mallett and Colby Denison Mallet; his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth "Betsy" Butterfield Denison of Carpenteria and Cleo McNelly Kearns of West Fairlee; and his stepsister Sheila Case Hill. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
