He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Lee Hughes and Mary Hughes; his grandparents, Arthur, Myrtle Hughes, Frank and Sophonia Terry; and his brother Reginald Lee Hughes of Jamaica, Vermont.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Hughes of Chittenden, Dan Hughes of Swanton, Linda Hallock of Leesburg, Christina Hughes of Bennington, Mary Theresa Hughes and Wuanita Hughes of Swanton. He is also survived by several sons and daughters.
