He was predeceased by: his parents, Violetta Aiken (Thomas) and Richard Aiken; his grandson James Tucker Crothers; his siblings, Pearl Aiken, Cleon Aiken, Ralph Aiken and Wayne Aiken; and also Louise Aiken.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Aiken; his daughters, Paulette Benoit, Rhonda Aiken, Laura Cramer (Hans) and Wendy Dezotelle (Mike); and his siblings, Nate Aiken (June Bundy), Dick Aiken (Vicky), Rosalie Fletcher and Wilma Aiken (Ray). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
