He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Rose Havill and William Lee Johnston; his brother Paul Leon Johnston; and his brother-in-law David Loveless. He is survived by: his wife Debra; his children, Kristi Mae Johnston and Craig Thomas Johnston II; his stepdaughter Jennifer Elizabeth Bugbee; his sisters, Theresa (Loveless) and Sheryl (Wilkins); his nephews, Jeffrey Loveless (Elizabeth) and Kyle Loveless; and his grandchild Carter (Cory Bugbee).
