With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Brian S. Severance of Fair Haven, Vermont, born in Rutland, Vermont, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Brian may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Brian touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Severance; his son Kristopher Severance; and his wife Christine Severance. He is survived by: his mother Waneta Steves (Paterson) of Fair Haven; his daughter Alyssa Severance of Rutland; his brothers, Kenneth Severance (Becky) of Ira and Kevin Clark (Sharon) of Fair Haven; and his stepchildren, Kiersten Sheldon (James) of Rutland and Alexander Maranville of Proctor. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Durfee Funeral Home & Cremation Service (119 N Main St, Fair Haven, VT 05743). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM.
