Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sharon Rosenthal (Essex, Vermont), born in Burlington, Vermont, who passed away at the age of 86, on December 31, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Alpert and Estyr Alpert (Bergstein) of Burlington's Old North End; her significant other Robert Sumner; and her sister-in-law Shirley Alpert. She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Stuart, Alayne and Laura; her close friend Ira; her brother Richard; her children, Stuart (Zach) of Hollywood, FL, Alayne (Mike) of West HavenVT and Laura (Jon) of Apex, NC; her grandchildren, Thomas Wilson of Raleigh, NC, Robbie Wilson of Apex, NC, Johnny Bruno of OrlandoFL and Austin Bruno of West Haven, VT.; and her nieces and nephews, Jeffrey, Mark, Scott Alpert, Barbara, Michael and Wendy Rosenthal. She is also survived by cousins, great-nieces and nephews, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Ohavi Zedek Synagogue (188 N Prospect St, Burlington, VT 05401).
