She was predeceased by: her parents, John Williams and Ruth Williams (Bulris); her husband Rufus Duell, Jr.; her stepmother Frances Williams; her stepbrother Charles Needham; and her pets, Shaggy and Sophie.
She is survived by: her brothers, Phil (Penny) of Alaska and Gary of Florida; her stepsister Judi of Colchester; and her children, Peter, John, Todd and Tami. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
