He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Rich and Roxanne Rich (Burnor); his sister Phyllis Gilbeau (Leon Gilbeau); and his nephews, Randy Gilbeau and Michael Broe.
He is survived by: his children, Lois Goff (Ronald) of Essex Jct, Leo Rich Jr. (Michele) of St. George, Ed Rich (Amy) of Winooski, Tina McGrath of Essex Jct, Timothy Rich (Karrie) of Milton and Christopher Rich of Essex Jct; his siblings, Richard Richards, Patricia "Teresa" (Sergeant Major Al) and Cheryl Rich; his grandchildren, Ron, Elizabeth, Josh, Patrick, Leo, Justin, Brian, Ashley, Allison, Alyssa, Alex, Heidi, Cassidy, Brayden, Ashlyn and Kayleigh; his nieces and nephews, Vicky Broe, Sandra Gilbeau, Deborah Fowler (Leo), Leon Gilbeau, Steve Gilbeau and Leo Gilbeau; his caregiver Alexis DeCoste; and his friend Leo. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
