He was predeceased by: his parents, Raffaele Maietta and Clementina Maietta (D'Augustino); his wife Bonnie (Viola Towne); and his siblings, Betty Columbo (Frank), Frank Maietta (Josephine), Viola Dillion (James), Julia Greenaugh (Bernard), Ralph Maietta (Barbara) and Patricia Maietta.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Maietta, Tina Maietta Mendes (Dean Mendes) and Roxanne Maietta (Marc Proteau); his stepgranddaughter Shardae Mendes (Tony Muller); and his sisters, Mary Giannone (Ralph), Elveta Brunelle (Donald) and Franny Lovejoy (Reggie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
