It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Tofferi of Essex, Vermont, born in Windsor, Vermont, who passed away on July 12, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Marshall and Iola Marshall (Kendall) of Reading; her siblings, Rodney Marshall, Martha Marsh and Lorraine Eastman; and her husbands, Harold Tofferi and Bruno Maki.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Tofferi (Denise) of Apache Junction, AZ, Jill Tofferi, Springfield and Jan Epstein of Essex; her grandchildren, Cara Tomasini of Rutland, Todd Suydam (Jennie) of Parish, NY, Jenna Brisson (Mark) of Milton, Colby and Betsy Epstein of Essex; her great grandchildren, Robert, Nick, Ryan Tomasini, Mia Suydam and Bryce Crossman; and her brother Rollin Marshall of Apokpa, FL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the McClure Miller Respite House, Colchester, VT or the Alzheimer's Association.
