We bid farewell to Jeanne Parsley of Essex, Vermont, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 18, 2024 at the age of 97. Jeanne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Jeanne is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jeanne's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold J. Anderson and Claire Anderson (Lycette); her husband Charles John Parsley; and her brother Donald Anderson. She is survived by: her children, MarthaJeanne Barton (Jerry Barton) of Vienna, Austria and Karen Baron (Dana Baron) of Shelburne. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and their spouses and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Burlington, Planned Parenthood of Northern Vermont, or a charity of your own choosing.
