Gary Scott Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Scott Smith of Essex, Vermont, who passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Denton Smith and Lois Smith. He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his children, Scott (April), Brian (Amanda) and Sherry (Tucker); his sister Luayne (Derrick); his grandchildren, Anna, Ben, Sophia, Theo, Toby and Cora; his pet Retriever; and his caregiver Jen Erwin. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Frederick C. Binter Center for Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders, especially Dr. James Boyd and nurse Jen Erwin, for their exceptional care.
