Daniel J. Canty Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel J. Canty of Essex, Vermont, who passed away on December 3, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Canty and Isabel Canty (Jones); his wife Maureen; and his brothers, John Canty, Richard Canty and William Canty.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Senn (Eric) of Essex, VT and Katie Roche (Jim) of Denton, TX; his grandchildren, Erika, Alex, Brittany of Ryan, DJ, Cody, Gianna, Erin, Connor, Gaven and Garrison; his grandparents, Hazen and Hudson; his sister Elizabeth Leavitt; and also Kade. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Services Mountain View Chapel (68 Pinecrest Dr, Essex Junction, VT 05452). A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
