She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Randall Brooks and Lyla Brooks; her husband Bernard Roke; her children, Bernie Roke, Dan (Sarah Roke) and Ian Roke (Bernadette Thie); her grandchildren, Emma, Jared and Kyle; her sister Lynda Hemmings; and her nephew David Hemmings.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Chittenden County.
