It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Jane Aja (Essex, Vermont), who passed away on October 16, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brother Bernard; and her granddaughter Mollie. She is survived by: her mother May; her children, Joseph of Williston, VT, Joaquin (Nancy) of Ocala, FL and Judith Houghton of South Burlington, VT; her grandson Justin Houghton (Amy) of Huntington, VT; her nieces, Darcy Peters of Milton, VT and Stacy Silloway of Enosburg, VT; and her nephew Dean Silloway of Pittsford, VT..
