He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert H. Mannings and Ethel R. Mannings (Hunt); his wife Donna Root Mannings; his brother Maurice R. Mannings; his parents-in-law, Bernard J. Root and Rose Marie Root (Tucker); and his sister-in-law Barbara Davis.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert J. Mannings of Westford, VT and Michael S. Mannings of Milton, VT; his grandchildren, Samantha, Amanda, Jordan Lee, Jordan Lindsay, Ashley, Kassidy and Michael; his great grandchild Henry; his siblings-in-law, Beverly Mannings, Judy Pratt (Peter), Lourraine Vanslette, Lynn Root, Bernard Root, Jr. (Sandra), Richard Root (Dianne), Ronald Root (Veda), Larry Root (Lisa) and Richard Davis; and his friends, Reggie and Terry Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
