Joan Patricia McNichol Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 4, 2022, at the age of 91, Joan Patricia McNichol of Essex Junction, Vermont passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Heaney and Ilzaide Heaney of Manhattan, NY; and her siblings, Barbara Pappas (Bobbie), Roy Heaney and Frances Heaney.
She is survived by: her close friend Warren Nolan; her husband Jim; her children, Trish Lorenz (Giff) of Savannah, GA, Cathy Kelley (Pete) of Williston, VT, Peter McNichol (Lee Wheeler) of Ferrisburgh, VT and Jennifer McNichol (John Baciocco) of Sitka, AK.; her grandchildren, Zach (Jennie), Patrick, Abby Lorenz, Siobhan, Liam Kelley, Colin and Dominic Baciocco; her siblings-in-law, Sue Ann Heaney and Tony Pappas; and also Mary Ann. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Prior to the pandemic and illness, she regularly attended Mass at Saint Michael the Archangel Chapel at St. Michael's College.
