She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond H. Bennett and Nettie B. Bennett; her husband Howard "Nick" Nickerson; and her siblings, Coolidge and Barbara.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Gallas (Michael) and Stephen Nickerson (Debra); her grandchildren, Kristin Gallas (Darryl Robinson), Eric Gallas (Jessica), Scott Nickerson and Paul Nickerson (Mindy); and her great grandchildren, Brianne, Sawyer and Jordan.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ready Funeral Home Mountain View Chapel (68 Pinecrest Dr, Essex Junction, VT 05452). A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Ready Funeral & Cremation Services Mountain View Chapel (68 Pinecrest Dr, Essex Junction, VT 05452). She volunteered for many years at the Green Mt. Nursing Home, Meals on Wheels and other groups for RSVP.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bayada Hospice, 463 Mountain View Drive, Colchester, Vermont.
