It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darell Whitaker (Essex Junction, Vermont), born in Saugerties, New York, who passed away on September 7, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orville Whitaker and Arlene Whitaker; his wife Linda; his daughter Kristen; his son-in-law Chuck Vella; his son Austin; his daughter-in-law Amanda Whitaker; his grandchildren, William, Kate, Alexis and Alyza; and his siblings, Adrienne Madden, Joanne Bruno and Allan Whitaker. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ECHO Center in Burlington, VT for the conservation and health of Lake Champlain or to a scholarship fund for students in the Natural Resource program at the Center for Technology, Essex. Donation links can be found below.
