He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Couture and Marguerite Couture (Archambault); his wife Jean Marie McDonald; and his brothers, Richard and Raymond.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick (Lisa Jaskolka) of Austin, TX, Daniel (Roberta) of Essex Jct, Bart (Lisette) of Malta, NY, Jean Couture (Barry Williams) of Goffstown, NH and Jennifer Coulter (Andrew) of Essex Jct; his grandchildren, Justin (Heather), Danielle, Hannah, Abigail, Benjamin, Adam Couture, Liam and Sarah Coulter; his great grandchild Daisy Couture; his siblings, Paul (Deanna), Maurice, Janice, James (Doreen), Gerald Couture (Virginia) and Marguerite Murray; his sisters-in-law, Patricia Couture, Betty Dye and Anne Houghton (Russell); and his friend Gail Tisseur. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Winooski School District for Student Activities, Community College of Vermont, and the Red Cross of Vermont in support of those impacted by the recent floods.
