He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Elwood and Doris Elwood (Abel); his wife Jane Titus; his brother Arnold Elwood; his brother-in-law Thomas Titus; his son-in-law Brian Taylor; and his great grandchild Scarlett Mallabar.
He is survived by: his brother Cecil Elwood (June); his brother-in-law Jack Titus (Judy); his children, Jody Heffernan (Kevin), Susan Barnes, Thomas Elwood (Erika), Heidi Taylor and Lisa Mallabar (Jim); his grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, Cody, Heather, Holly, Amanda, Tommy, Damiana, Caitlin, Melissa, Justin, Aaron and Cassie; and his great grandchildren, Amera, Christopher, Matthew, Noah and Iris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
