He was predeceased by: his parent Jalo Eli Nopola; and his brother Joel Nopola. He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, Jennifer Helle of Chicago, Illinois and Dale Nopola (Regina); his grandson Max of Maryville, Tennessee; and his siblings, Judith Olson of Lombard, Illinois, John Nopola of Lakeside and Paul Nopola of California.
On March 12, 2025, Martin Nopola of Eden died at age 91 at Copley Hospital from complications due to Parkinson's disease.
