Violet Griggs Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Violet Griggs of Eden Mills, Vermont, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 28, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Gloria Gates, Fernwood Smith and Sherianne Kneeland; and her friend Jean Palmisano. She is survived by: her husband Donald Griggs of Eden Mills; her children, Leah Griggs (Dennis Cota) of Eden and Kendrick Griggs (Samantha Devenger) of Eden; her sister Carolyn Reed of Hyde Park; her grandchildren, Liza Miller (Dustin) of Eden, Alicia Collins (Michael) of Irasburg, Kendra Marie Griggs (Avery Bellavance) of Johnson, Kelsey Stanton (Slayde) of Eden, Ryan Lindgren (Addie Martin) of Belvidere, Zachary Provencha of Morrisville and Daniel Provencha of Johnson; her great grandchildren, Dawn and Colby Collins; and her grandchildren, Myah, Karah, Jaida, Dakota Miller, Charlotte Bellavance and Luke Stanton.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Violet's memory can be made to the Lamoille Area Cancer Network in Morristown, Vermont.
