With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Madeline C. Chaffee of East Ryegate, Vermont, born in Arlington, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 6, 2020 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Chase and Gertrude Chase (Daniels); her husband John "Jack" Batten; her daughters, Susan Hubbard (Mark) of Eureka, CA, Jane DuFresne and Chris of Hot Springs, MT; and her close friend Patricia Wagoner.
