He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cantin and Elizabeth Cantin (Hardy); his daughter Lynn Cantin Young; his wife Virginia Hodges Cantin; and his siblings, Phillip, William, Arnold, Harland Cantin, Virginia Caron, Madeline Rosebrook and Josephine Ball.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pauline Harris (Thomas) of Lyndonville, Kim Wynn (Russell) of East Haven, Cheryl Plonka Cann (Brian) of Waldenbuch and Germany. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
