He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gordon, Betty Ely, Marshall and Charmaine Newland; his cousin Jenny Hackett; his niece Prezlie Newland; and his uncles, Marshall and Bobby Newland.
He is survived by: his parents, Linda Ann Newland (Ely) and Brian Newland of East Burke; his siblings, Philip Newland (Jessica) of Sutton, VT and Trisha Switser (Ben) of East Burke; his nephews, Holden, Grant Newland, Sawyer, Able Brown, Neice and Jerzie Newland; and his aunts and uncles, Daniel Newland (Judy), Richard Newland (Lori), Carol Bushey (Bob), Marcia Hackett (Rick), Debbie Bailey (Ed), Wendy Simpson, Tracy Newland, Brandy Newland, Gary Ely and Cindy Ely.
