He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Burton Sloan and Gloria Sloan (Smith) of East Charleston; and his brother Gerald "Mike" Sloan. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his daughters, Kimberly Dominque and Patricia Sloan (Justin Clapp); his grandchildren, Alexis Dominque, Austin, Brady, Landan and Grayson Clapp; his brother Jimmy Sloan (Kathy); and his stepchildren, Sue Joseph-Mason, Robyn Robar, Brett, Hayley and Gary Joseph. He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
