It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dudley S. Bell of East Burke, Vermont, who passed away on March 11, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dudley S. Bell to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his mother Theodora Bell (Burr); his sister Barbara Theodora Clark (Bell); his siblings-in-law, Donald C Clark Sr. and Corine Bell (Robinson); and also, James Butterfield and Brenda McAlpine.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Bell (Butterfield); his daughter Cassie Bell (Scott Cota) of Barre, VT; his grandchildren, Benjamin and Claire Isabelle; his son David Bell (Jeannie) of Raleigh, NC; his grandchildren, Eric Laureyns (Rachel), Zach Smith, Emily Bell (Neal Hatley) and Kristopher Bell; his son Peter Bell (Sabrina Stidsen) of Leominster, MA; his grandson Spencer Bell; his brother Harry H. Bell of Middletown, OH; and also, Bernie and Lori. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“Dear May Lou & Family, We are saddened to learn of Dudley's passing, For many years I have enjoyed playing with Dudley on various basketball teams at the VSG and NSG events. In addition, he also participated in many other events between games. He never seemed to tire. Our last NSG tournament together was in 2019 Albuquerque where we were awarded a bonze medal in the 85 division. Durley was a great competitor and always a gentleman. Best wishes to you all, Bob Willey”
