He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Sanborn and Amanda Sanborn (Meeker); his siblings, Dorothy Sanborn and Leo Sanborn, Jr.; and his son Raymond Sanborn.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Sanborn; his children, Edmund Sanborn (Linda), Clarence Sanborn (Ellie), Kenneth Sanborn, Linda Beede (Duane) and Bonnie Smith (Paul Racicot); and his brother Stewart Sanborn. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
