He was predeceased by: his parents, Holbrook, Sr. and Gertrude; and his grandson Cole Rinker. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Bettye" Bissell; his children, Brian Bissell, Brent Bissell and Betsy Bissell Bradley; his stepdaughters, Deborah Staruch and Jennifer Myers-Holsinger; his grandchildren, April Socher, Robert Noble, Scott Staruch, Serene Kumler, Brooke Briggs, Ted Staruch, Jillian Miller, Julia Saintz, Alese Rinker, Natalie and Kennedy Bissell; and his great grandchildren, Alexandra, Alivia, Michael, Meade, Maximus, Thatcher, Landis, Noah and Henry.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
