It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Fortin of Derby, Vermont, who passed away on April 13, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Louis Fortin; and his siblings, Lucienne Blais, Yvonne Fortin, Rita Dagesse, Lionel Fortin, Lucien Fortin and Raymond Fortin.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Durocher; his son Larry Fortin (Charla) of Mechanicsburg, PA; his grandchildren, Matthew and Myra; his daughter Maria Bliss (Warren) of Barton, VT; his granddaughters, Jennifer, Stephanie and Jessica; his daughter Carmen Tarbox (Peter) of Orleans, VT; his granddaughters, Crystal and Cassie; his daughter Pamela Busby (Tim) of Barre, VT; his grandsons, Gaston Emile and Lucas; his daughter Sheila Bathalon (Marc) of King, NC; his grandchildren, Brianna and Brandon; his siblings, Germaine Gosselin (Bill) of Derby Line and Rene Fortin (May) of Holland, VT; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanette Fortin of Derby Line, Sharon Fortin, Larry, Gloria Durocher of Fort Pierce, FL and Joyce Before of St. Johnsbury, VT. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
