She was predeceased by: her parent Archie Phillips of Newport Center; and her sons-in-law, Milton "Bimbo" Longely and David Ladue. She is survived by: her parent Hilda Phillips (Horskins) of Newport Center; her spouse Gerald Bowman; her children, Larry Bowman of Coventry, Gail Fortin (Roger) of Barton, Donna Ladue of Derby, Cindy Letourneau (Gaetan) of Irasburg, Carolyn Granai (George) of Coventry and Rachel Hart (Paul Wolcott); her grandchildren, Jamie Longley, Shaun, Rodney Messier, Gabrielle Granai, Dylan Fortin, Trevor and Austin Letourneau; and her sisters, Thelma Jewett of Newport and Dorothy Pratt (Gary) of Colchester.

After Alzheimer's disease progressed whenever she saw any of her children, she would have a big smile.
