He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Royer and Melvina Royer (Poiree); his former wife Bertha Piette; and his stepson Ronald Tetreault. He is survived by: his wife Annette Tetreault (Voyer) of Derby, VT; his children, Daniel Royer (Reene) of Newport Center, VT, Rev. Yvon Royer of Winooski, VT, Fernand Royer (Jennifer) of Hardwick, VT, Diane Hanson (Dale) of South Burlington, VT and Jacques Royer (Roberta) of Newport Center, VT; his stepchildren, Michael Tetreault (Robin) of Claremont, NH, Patrick Tetreault (Holly) of North Troy, VT, Bernard Tetreault (Sheila) of Canaan, NH and Lucille Tetreault of Newport, VT; and his brother Raymond Royer (Lucille) of Orleans, VT. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, 17 step grandchildren, 15 step great grandchildren, and 2 step great-great grandchildren.
