He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Sandvil and Marion A. Sandvil (Flood); his brother Joseph; and his sister-in-law Sheila Sandvil. He is survived by: his son Michael (Cyndee) of Danville; his wife Jeanne Eva Martel of Danville; his children, John Jr. (Cathy) of Enosburg, VT, Shirley Sexton (Jim) of Essex, VT and Steven (Robin Howard) of St. Johnsbury; his sister Jane Brausey (Joe Tobias) of Newark, OH; and his grandchildren, Joey, Chad, Christina, Jason, Tyler, Austin, Laci, Larissa, Kaylee, Amanda, Nate, Shane and Naomi. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
