She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Harry and Mazy Ewert (Higgins); her stepfather George Lafayette Preston; her former husband Ralph William Hayes; her husband Henry Thomas Drennan; and her foster son John Rahn.

She is survived by: her former husband Theodore Elsworth Hinckley; her children, Jill Coleen Hinckley, Dale Thomas Hinckley, Thomas Hayes, William Ralph Hayes and Benjamin Hayes; her grandchildren, Flower Noble, Ezra Noble, Mazy Hayes, Emily Hayes, A. Thomas Hayes and Caroline Hayes; her great grandchild Sula Noble Demers; and her foster children, Dan Hsu, Pasit Hsu, Samsonite Hsu of Laos, Tuyet Nguyen and Kiet Le Nguyen of Vietnam.
