He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Maxwell and Mary Maxwell (Joslin); his grandson Brian; and his siblings, Charlie, Darryl, Juanita, Lodoiska, Lawrence, Dale and Alton.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Maxwell (Sweet); his sons, Stewart (Margaret), Brad (Jean), Jeffery (Shelly) and Anthony (Anne); his grandchildren, Rachel (Ryan), Hannah (Chu), Darik (Shannon), Darcy (Ryan), Ryan (Lauren), Mat (Megan), Nate (Lindsay), Abbie (Mike), Tyler (Dana), Jeffery (Adam), Terri (Gabriel) and Shawnee (Brian Buddy); and his great grandchildren, Kody, Konnor, Mason, Lucy, Cadance, Noah, Hinman, Maxwell, Mayzie, Avery, Alana, Wylloh, Carver, Marlo, Cru, Eleanor, Edith, Esther, Jordan, Andrew, Brianna, Nori and Everly. He is also survived by several sisters and brothers in laws, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Curtis-Britch and Bouffard Funeral Home (37 Lake Rd, Newport, VT 05855).
